As someone who doesn't do well under pressure, this sort of game is not really the sort I would play normally. I know as someone who watches a lot of Gordon Ramsey, that it can be tough trying to make good meals while under pressure and this series of games aims to do just that. Now I like a good challenge and I have spent a fair bit of time in these games prior to this review, but I don't see myself personally as someone wanting to work in a kitchen anytime soon, but that'as just me. So let's do some cooking, some serving and hope this food I make is delicious:
Cook, Serve, Delicious!
The first game has you be sent to a worn down restaurant where business has declined. With some money and set number of things given, you the player are tasked with getting this restaurant up and going again. You do this by using and purchasing equipment and various food to make some hopefully good meals that pleases your customers. You have prep stations to go to in order to make sure the customer's requests are met in what they actually want you to make for them. The game runs on an in game time, which has the restaurant open for an in game day. Between days, you can order more food, purchase new equipment and so forth. You will either love or hate this and to me, I'm kind of in the middle. On one hand, it's difficult, challenging and repetitive. But on the other hand, it has some charm to it, the art style is pretty good, and it's almost close to being an accurate portrayal of how a restaurant works (at least for the most part anyway). Take it for what it is and enjoy if you can. 7/10

What we have here is a sequel that's pretty much the same game, but with some additional new things. Now the player must clean work stations and perform sanitary and other clean up duties. Also, the in game day has you perform various steps that must be completed before the day is out. There is now 180 meals to choose from as opposed to 30 from the first game. Players can now customize their restaurant and meals a split into the categories of entrées, sides and drinks. The game also allows the same player to work in other restaurants and with a friend via co-op too. There's also a station that pre-prepares meals, which I guess was created for a more pleasant experience this time around. It's still pretty difficult to play, but the new additions give the game reason for people to play because it feels like a more tailored experience thanks to the customization options and the pre-prepared meal stations. 8/10

I think out of all three games, this one has the most over the top premise. It's a dystopian future and the restaurant is on wheels, competing with other food vans. Pretty much the same as before again, though this time the meals are given rankings to determine how difficult each one is to make for the customers. New things that are in this one, see two androids finishing off various tasks while you focus on other tasks. As it's a food van setting, chores are a thing of the past and two modes called "Chill" and "Zen" are introduced for a less stressful, but more pleasant experience compared to the norm. I appreciate the new modes here because as I said, these games can get difficult quite quickly. So I do appreciate that. More of the same may not fare well with everyone, but a food van setting is definitely an interesting choice of progression for this game, if nothing else. 8/10
So overall, it's not really my sort of game. I don't mind the pressure, but too much pressure can be too much for me to handle. So yeah, an alright series overall, but not one I'm planning to return to anytime soon. 7/10
