Random TV Season Review - Fear The Walking Dead (Season 6)

Yeah, I know season 7 is already here, and I will get to that eventually. So of all the companion shows to the main show (which will soon have part two of its final season), I think I enjoy Fear more than any of the other companions. I mean for a start it was set right at the beginning of the world going to pot and then a few seasons in, it started having cast from the main show join which led to a revamp in the show's opening titles. At that point, it was set at the same time of the first half of the main show's ninth season. It's not quite as big as the main show with the cast being smaller for a start, but I still find enjoyment in it. So let's see what's in store for this sixth season:

Following from the previous season, much of the heroes have been separated across various settlements run by Virginia (reprised by Colby Minifie), the leader of a group called the Pioneers who may have a history with a person called Dakota (played by Zoe Colletti). Morgan (reprised by Lennie James) had been left for dead, but manages to escape from the Pioneers and with some help, goes on a mission to reunite his group before all hell breaks loose.

So many have said that the last couple of seasons haven't been great and call this a much better season that tackles different genres, has a better plot and even does a fair bit of character development too. I agree, I really like this season and I hope going forward, we get more great stuff from this companion show. Not sure how much longer it can go, but we shall see. 8/10
