Random TV Miniseries Review - Boo, Bitch

So currently for me, I have a lot of shows going on the fly. None of them have ended their current seasons yet, so while we wait, let's take a look at this Netflix series. Recommended to me by a friend, this looks like one of those coming of age shows that can be cringy, full of bad jokes and things that some people like, but not everyone. Not got many high hopes for this miniseries, but the supernatural element of it has me interested. So let's take a look:

At some American school, unpopular seniors Erika Vu (played by Lana Condor) and Gia (played by Zoe Colletti) realize that there isn't much time left before they graduate. Because of this, the pair set out to make a name for themselves before school ends and start by going to a party. The two make the effort to ask out their crushes Jake C (played by Mason Versaw) and Jake W (played by Conor Husting) to prom and begin to grow a good bond with them. They both end up being hungover the next morning and things take a turn for the worse when they enter the woods and find a corpse with Erika's shoes being crushed by a mule. Prompting them to wonder about the afterlife, if they have unfinished business and other shenanigans.

This is one of those miniseries that you could watch if you want, but you won't be missing much if you skipped it completely. I chuckled a few times when I watched it, and it does try well to describe a scenario where an unpopular student wants to be popular, but is running out of time to do so. The supernatural part is a tad confusing till all is revealed at the end, and it is a bit cringy here and there too. So yeah, feel free to skip it or watch it, but either way, don't expect any greatness from it. 6/10
