Random Video Game Review - Forgive Me Father

For I have sinned... Well, that is how it goes usually. So this month's Humble Bundle, gives us this strange game. A dark, but retro horror FPS game inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and in the style of a comic book. Sounds like my kind of game, as I am into all those things. Who knows what awaits us, whether it's the likes of Cthulhu or some other Lovecraft being of great, immeasurable power. Let's take a look:

So you play as this survivor of sorts who is the only one left with senses and must travel on a journey to search for answers and relief. Dealing with enemies as you progress in this FPS game. Your madness level increases as you progress, which can give you additional skills and extra power to deal with your enemies. With lots of hidden areas and more in this 90s looking world full of Lovecraft lore, secrets, power ups and enemies with a custom-built combat system. Dynamic levels of madness, a mood straight from the world of Lovecraft, and two heroes to choose from. What's not to like?

There are quite a few games to do with H.P. Lovecraft on Steam and possibly other platforms too. It may not be a traditional FPS game so to speak, but it's a cool one to play if you are just wanting something very nostalgic and retro looking. Lovecraft, comic books and anything that claims to be retro are all my jam. FPS it depends on the game in question, like I generally don't play many Call of Duty or Battlefield games (but have reviewed said games previously), but I would definitely play Borderlands, BioShock and anything Valve have made. This is definitely worth checking out for sure. 9/10
