Random Video Game Review - In Sound Mind

Things just got very interesting. So there are a lot of weird, wacky and wonderful crossovers, collaborations and combinations that, for a lot of people, should not be able to work so well. Batman VS Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, for example, just seems like a very random crossover (comics and the film) and yet it just works. This game is a horror game with frenetic puzzles, unique boss fights and a soundtrack by the great Living Tombstone. Those of you who don't know him, he is one of those YouTubers who has a particular focus on music, with it being a mix of songs to do with video games and a few original pieces too. In fact, one of his most recent tracks, made it into Beat Saber of all things. Looks like an interesting game, so let's take a look:

Bought to you by the people behind the game Nightmare House 2, you play as this unnamed character from a first-person perspective who awakes in the corridors of an inexplicable building. The environment takes on a life of its own and leads you to discover a series of victims which have all been exposed to some kind of experimental chemical. As you search for answers, bizarre visions emerge, and it introduces you to a whole host of imposing horrors.... and other things.

Many video games, like this, try to depict an accurate depiction of mental health and this one does it quite well. It's an interesting game that combines a lot of elements which should not work and yet, it does. Definitely one to check out if you like those games that use elements that usually should not work together, but surprisingly they do. And yes, there is a cat you can pet in the game too. So yeah, give it a go and see what awaits you in this eerie horror game with the Living Tombstone providing the music. 8/10
