Random Video Game Review - Jurassic World Evolution 2

Well we all know how the trilogy (and in turn film saga) ended and... yeah it wasn't a great ending. Still, though, Frontier gave us a cracking game where we get to make our own Jurassic World. Now we have a sequel set after Fallen Kingdom. Not sure how invested people are now given the state of the franchise, but I hope people still find some comfort in it, if the films didn't do that. So here we have the sequel, which hopefully will live up to expectations. Let's get to it:

Like before, the main purpose of the game is to make your own Jurassic World theme park. You got a wide range of various dinosaur species to choose from (75 to be exact) and you can place them in enclosures, aviaries and lagoons that you have to build for your visitors to view. All the dinosaurs have different needs that need to be met such as what kind of area they live in, what food to eat and other things to keep them satisfied and healthy. There are times when dinosaurs will attack one another and run in herds, which behaves a little differently to the game's predecessor. Some parts like the terrain have been reworked, and much of the game this time around is set in the United States.

Following all the usual things that make a game like this work while adding its own taste of things, this sequel builds upon its predecessor and ends up being better as a result. It's still probably the only good thing going for the franchise now. But who knows, maybe things will get better in the future. For now, enjoy building your own Jurassic World, free from evil corporations and featuring a few familiar faces. 9/10
