Well, after a reasonably successful first volume, we now have a second volume of Star Wars animated short films. This time with more focus on western animation studios like Cartoon Saloon and Aardman in contrast to the first volume which was largely exclusively Japanese animated shorts. Some more interesting stories to tell this time around, so let's dig in:
We've got some races, stop-motion, lightsaber battles, more fights against the Empire and even an appearance from an old Wallace & Gromit villain from their very first short A Grand Day Out. Plus other things too. Plenty of droids about this time too.
It's another solid volume of short films that definitely show the talents and skills of the many people that worked on them. It's also another grand example of what animation can do when compared to anything live action. Plus, adults will get a kick out of these just as much as children because as I have said many times now... ANIMATION IS NOT JUST FOR CHILDREN!!! IT'S FOR EVERYONE!!! 9/10
