Random Video Game Review - Plague Inc: Evolved

It's no secret that, many of us, don't like the Earth we live on. Whether that be because of the government and their rules or just the amount of hate and terrorism that goes around, some of us just don't like living on it. Probably a reason why this game (itself being a remake of an old mobile game) exists. We just get so fed up with life, that we want others to suffer. Believe me, during the lockdowns, this was a game I played a lot because I just found comfort in it somehow during that difficult time. But regardless of whether you actually hate our world and all it's cracked up to be, this game is just a simulator of what would happen if widespread diseases like Covid, took over the world. It ain't a pretty sight, so let's get to it:

So you, the player, controls a plague of your choosing which has infected "patient zero". You must infect and kill the world's population by evolving the plague and adapting to various areas and environments. But there is a time limit, which is determined by how quickly the humans can make a cure for this plague. And that's pretty much the game in a nutshell.

It's not going to win everybody over, but it is certainly an interesting game. One that can help people learn about different diseases and how to combat them. So in that sense, there is an educational side to it there. But for a lot of us, it can remind us of what I call a "bad dream" that was Covid. Regardless, its worth playing if you're just fed up with life and want to express yourself on that. 9/10
