It's been a while since I last did a review of half a season. I haven't had a lot of time to see much with everything that's been happening in my own life, but am now back and ready to review things again. I have watched everything to do with American Horror Story, enjoying the scary and horror parts of it, as well as the amount of eye candy that's in the show. Plus the LGBTQ+ elements and so much more. It has shown signs of not being too scary in some seasons and very much scary in others. But I guess that is the thing with most shows like this. Some seasons are better than others. Anyway, it's time to look at this story, which certainly got my interest as the show generally does. Let's go:
Young actress Anna Victoria Alcott (played by Emma Roberts) wants to have a baby, but comes to realize that someone or something is sabotaging any chances she has of having one so she can start a family. With a few potential suspects and one in particular being of religious means, the big question of whether she can have that family, lingers.
As it's only half a season, I guess we won't know the answer until the second half. But for this first half, it's got star power from lots of places, but has some slow pacing, which may actually be a good thing. When you're splitting a season in half, you definitely don't want too much going on in the first half, but definitely leave people wanting more at the end of it, which AHS definitely did here. The acting is good as always, and I look forward to seeing how this American Horror Story ends. 7/10
