AC7: TV at Christmas

Every year at Christmas, there's always some good TV to watch (not only at Christmas but for the rest of the holidays as well), Here's my picks for watching over the holidays:

The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe

Now this was kind of an obvious one. Every year since 2005, there has always been a Doctor Who Christmas Special which somehow ties into the main story arc of each series and is normally one hour long (with the acceptation of The Voyage of the Damned which was 75 minutes). This year, the story is a take on the hit CS Lewis book The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and judging by the footage I've seen, this is bound to be good. 7pm, Christmas Day, BBC1

Various Films

Normally there's a whole load of films being shown on all channels over the holidays. The majority of them are all christmasy which is OK. If you like them, then watch them.

Michael McIntyre's Christmas Comedy Roadshow
Enjoying Christmas with a bit of comedy always goes down well and this show is no exception. Normally in the Comedy Roadshow, Micheal McIntyre hosts the show while giving the audience some comedy from himself and his guests and the final act would normally be a very well known and popular comedian (other than the host himself). Regardless, enjoy this bit of comedy because it only comes once a year. 10.30pm, Christmas Day, BBC1.

As well as these, also check out:

The Gruffalo's Child
You've Been Framed (Christmas Special)
The Toys That Made Christmas
The Royal Bodyguard
Poirot
Annoying People 2011 (shown after New Years Eve)

For the TV schedule, head over to the Radio Times website (or something similar).
