Today I decided to have a rest from doing the Xmas and review of the year things to talk to you about the latest firmware update for the 3DS. So let's get to it:
Mii Plaza:
The Mii Plaza has been given a major update which includes more puzzles in Puzzle Swap (making it more harder to do), StreetPass Quest 2 (a sequel to the original quest game with a bigger map, 3 people to rescue, new monsters and the ability to either use your Miis in the plaza or recruit new allies using play coins), a new menu system which features a music player to play your favourite music from the plaza, a map of various countries which you can colour in by collecting Miis and a accomplishment system (which could possibly move onto other games. Overall, very happy with the plaza. 9/10
Camera:
The Camera function of the 3DS features video recording where you can record up to 10 minutes of 3D video footage. You can also edit the videos in a similar way to doing photos, and you can also use stop motion as well. Overall, its good but we may have to wait longer for a YouTube upload point. 7/10
eShop:
The eShop has also been given major updates. this includes the ability to download demos, in-game purchases/DLCs and also the ability to purchase and download games while on sleep mode. Lovely stuff. 9/10
As well as those there's also these new features as well:
Nintendo 3DS software transfer
Improves system security
Improves QR Code function
Improves online play
Includes previous updates
Nintendo Zone(Not in EU)
Blocks many flash cartridges
Overall, this is a good update and its also good to know that Nintendo are slowly starting to do what Microsoft and Sony have been doing for a long time so its good. 10/10
