Video Game Review: inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood (PSN)

So this is my first review of a downloadable game and I must say, this is very short (but compared to the main games of the series, that's OK). Because of the shortness of the game, I'm not going to break it into parts (like with my other ones) so there. During Cole and Zeke's time on New Marias, a festival called Pyre Night takes place which somehow causes Bloody Mary (in the flesh) to turn Cole into a vampire. Cole must now come to grips with his vampire powers and must destroy BM before the sun rises. The game has most of Cole's powers from inFAMOUS 2 along with biting people's necks for blood, flying like a Death Eater from Harry Potter and using a stake to kill his enemies (which are vampires and BM). There are some similarities to that of Assassin's Creed in this game which include using vampire vision to find glyphs containing BM's teachings, blood jars (which after a certain amount is collected will boost Cole's blood meter) and hidden vampires. Along with the story missions are user created missions some of which will be part of the main story (and you'll need Internet to play them). While the game is quite short, it does manage to bring out a new side to Cole which works in many ways and I hope there's more like this to come soon. 9/10

That now concludes all my reviews for the things released last year so as of now, I'll be reviewing things released this year so look forward to them. :)
