Review of the Week

Let's see what's been happening in the first full week of 2015:

Doctor Who News - Russell T Davies says no to 10th Anniversary of the new series
As many of us know, Russell T Davies was the one who bought Doctor Who back to our screens in 2005 after a long hiatus of televised episodes which started out as being an experiment for him and the BBC because the BBC at the time were not sure if anyone would actually want it after such a long time, but the success of the first series in a new generation of Doctor Who led to the show becoming more popular than it has ever been in the past. With the franchise having celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013, many are speculating on whether there will be an anniversary special to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the new series and T Davies has stated that he won't be taking part in it because even though he loves the show, he wants to move on. There has as of yet been no official word of such a thing as many believe that having a 10th anniversary after a 50th anniversary would make no sense. But that being said, I don't think we would need it because the 50th kind of gave us it with 2 doctors that have been with us since the revival in it. But that's just my opinion.

In other news, Disney continue their plans for world domination as the look for more things to acquire, EA gets sued by former NFL players, The LEGO Movie 2 will be set 4 years after the first film according to sources but expect to see 2 spin-off films with one about ninjas and the other about Batman, after the controversy last year Ubisoft's reputation could very well be doomed in 2015, Kingdom Hearts III release date remains unannounced despite Goofy's voice actor's claims that it will be out this year, Kahn Fonfils who has been in Star Wars and James Bond dies at age 41 and despite people claiming that there may be another film, there won't be as news reports say that the only Tolkien book that hasn't been adapted called The Silmarillion will remain as just a book as Peter Jackson doesn't have the rights to it and its likely that he never will as Tolkien's son hates the Middle-Earth films or some stupid thing like that.

So now onto the week's film and video game releases in most areas:

Films:
Taken 3 (Most areas with more to follow)

Video Games:
None that are worth mentioning.

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
