Random Video Game DLC Review - The Untold Stories of Los Perdidos (Dead Rising 3)

Its been over a whole year since the game came out and since then, it came off my all time favourite video game list because I realised that its a bloody hard game, not to mention that its a game where unless you're well equipped, you're pretty much dead in the water and the fact that it follows the same old generic zombie apocalypse story that's been done to death and that same generic story makes the game fun but depressing (unlike say Sunset Overdrive). Anyway, I have some unfinished business to attend to with this game and that is the story based DLC, so let's get to it:

So the DLC is split into 4 parts or rather episodic parts and each one lasts no more than 2 hours depending on the player playing them. They each have you play a different character who are all very different and aside from occasional cameos, never really play a key role in the main game, but the purpose of them was to fill in the holes of the main story. And the gameplay is pretty much the same as the main game, minus the costume changes. Episode 1 follows a military commander who's team head into Los Perdidos to retrieve the president while dealing with zombies and other enemies under orders from his boss as it were. Episode 2 follows one of the survivors and just shows the actions she made which lead her into a very dark path. Episode 3 follows a leader of a motorbike gang who is after the one who framed him for something he didn't do (and this is the same guy you meet early on in the main game). The last episode follows an agent who the main protagonist of the main game saves and he's tasked with sorting some things out with this hacker while also trying to clear his name.

That's pretty much all there is to it. They aren't really anything special, but any fan of the game will be happy to get out there and bring hell to all zombies, even if its only for under 2 hours in each episode. But for me, they felt quite boring and hard so I didn't spend too much time on them. But hey, at least that too many worded DLC for this game makes up for these DLC packs. 6/10
