Review of the Week

With next week being E3 week, let's see what's been happening this week before the gaming explosion begins:

Star Wars/Middle-Earth News - Christopher Lee's passing
It is with great sorrow that we have lost one of the most legendary of actors this past week. Christopher Lee, a man who many of you will know as the three characters seen above, Count Dooku in Star Wars, Saruman in Middle-Earth and Dracula in various Universal films beginning with the 1958 film of the same name. Additionally, he's was a regular collaborator to some of Tim Burton's work and just so happens to provide the voice of Ansem the Wise in Kingdom Hearts II. He was well known for playing villainous roles in the vast majority of the films, TV shows and video games that he worked on, but also playing other roles too. He died on 7th June and the news was made public yesterday. Now as much as I would love to pay tribute to him, he has done so many films (70 years of them to be exact) that it's just hard to choose one to review and its the same with the other stuff he's done. But anyway, he will be missed a great deal and its thanks to the 3 above roles that he will remain well known. Sleep well, dark prince and may the force be with you (and yeah I have no idea if the Sith do actually say that to one another or not).

In other news, the plot of Batman VS Superman has been revealed (but its not really that surprising as you'd might think) as has the plot of Pacific Rim 2, an unearthed script for Star Wars 4 reveals that Han Solo did indeed shoot first, James Cameron offers his support for the next Terminator film and takes his time on the next set of Avatar films, more pandas are to be seen in Kung Fu Panda 3, Marge and Homer are set to split in next season of The Simpsons (this time, it could be for good), Marvel set to reboot the comic universe again and pretty much everything else is all gaming, but the vast amjority of it, is just people saying everyone is getting ready for E3 next week.

Now onto the week's film and video game releases in most areas:

Films:
Jurassic World (Most areas with a few more to follow. Series review coming soon)

Video Games:
Alone in the Dark: Illumination (Win) (Worldwide)
LEGO Jurassic World (Multi-Platform except mobile devices) (Worldwide. Review coming soon)

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
