Ever wondered what happened to the Zygons after The Day of the Doctor and whether Osgood is alive or dead following the series 8 finale? Well that's what this episode will tell us:
So in case you haven't seen the episodes I've mentioned before this one, stop now because there will be spoilers ahead. So the episode begins with the human and Zygon Osgood explaining about a peace treaty between the two species and that if a nightmare scenario occurs, they better be ready. That scenario does indeed occur as the Zygons return to Earth to free their brethren from their human forms, while killing those who have betrayed them and stand in their way. Its up to The Doctor, Clara and UNIT to end this invasion before they themselves get influenced by the Zygons.
I have to say, of all the episodes in the series so far, this one was full of twists and turns and I like it. Some characters are killed off, the humanity of everyone is questioned and we go on a bit of a world tour in the process. Great stuff here and one of the best written episodes of the series so far. 9/10
