This time, we reach the end of Agents of SHIELD's third season and another old enemy of Penguin's comes back from the dead in Gotham:
Ascension
With Johnson no longer being able to be under Hive's influence, he then decides to overpower and abduct her. He gets the warhead while SHIELD battle the Primitives which results in a number of casualties, but Coulson and a handful of survivors manage to escape in a quinjet. Believing her vision, Johnson must atone for her actions and deal with the warhead whatever it takes. A pretty anti-climatic finale I must say, but you're bound to expect that sort of thing in the MCU and a number of its films, prove it. But despite that, its still a pretty good end to a mediocre series which while not perfect, manages to as always, keep us occupied until a new MCU film comes out along with the MCU's additional shows. 7/10
A Legion of Horribles
Selina gets herself captured which leads to a trio consisting of Bruce, Gordon and Fox going into Arkham to finally bring an end to Strange's schemes. However as they go in, Strange brings back another person from the dead who just so happens to be an old adversary of Penguin. I think for many years, many of us Batman fans always knew that these many villains he has, while great, were all for the most part, created unintentionally by his own influence. But this episode of Gotham actually makes me wonder if they were made in a way that goes against what we already know. Its an interesting take on them, but I'm not sure if it were to be true. Other than that, another good episode full of suspense and some disturbing moments. 8/10
