AC12: Random Movie Review - The Aristocats

So I'm going a little bit out of sync with the order each Disney animated classic comes in, but that's ok. So a film about cats. Nothing new or original about it, but anything is better than those two Cats & Dogs films right? Well let's find out as we dive into Disney's 20th animated classic:

The year is 1910, the place is Paris, France (though you already knew that anyway) and we meet a mother cat (voiced by the late Eva Gabor) who is the mother of three kitens and lives with her owner, a retired opera diva (voiced by the late Hermione Baddeley). The diva writes her will and states that upon her death, the fortunes she has will go towards her pets and thereafter to her butler (voiced by Roddy Maude-Roxby). The butler overhears this and has the cats be abandoned somewhere. The cats must then venture home and stop this butler, but get some help along the way.

For a musical film, its actually pretty good. Its got great music with some flavour and colour to match and is one of a few talking cat films that isn't annoying nor terrifying with its cheap and in your face CGI (but keep in mind that CGI wasn't a thing yet at the time of this film). As one of the final films Walt Disney himself approved of, its great. Its really good and I can't find any fault with it. 9/10
