Random Video Game Review - Pony Island

So first of all, I hope you all like the new layout I set up. But let's now talk about this game. One of the best things about video games is that unlike films and TV shows where 4th wall breaking is pretty limited, it can be more creative in video games. Now at first, one could say that a game with the name Pony Island sounds like a game made for girls and bronies. But sometimes its best not to judge it as quickly like that. This is in fact something completely different, but still involves Ponies nonetheless. So just jump and see what happens:

So a unnamed person (presumably the player) comes across a computer and starts playing a game called Pony Island. But the game isn't all as it seems and soon enough, its a race against time to hack the game and take on some kind of devil, so to speak. So its basically a endless running game where you get the pony to jump, shoot down enemies and so on, while also hacking into the game to stop a great evil from entering our world and consuming our souls (sounds familiar doesn't it). And as you do all this, you can also find some tickets which are there as collectibles. As for graphics, its pretty much a cartoon style game with some pretty colours, but mostly nothing but black and white for the most part.

Its a pretty fun game, but not without its challenges and lore. It will definitely put you to the test and it will almost certainly make you scratch your head as you work out the lore. Not only that, but it is also one of a few games that is capable of using the Steam platform for more than just achievements and trading cards and this is where the 4th wall breaking comes into play. But I won't spoil that for you. So a good game, but one where you should not judge it by its title because that would be bad. 7/10
