Random Video Game Review - Portal Knights

So a few weeks ago, Steam had their annual summer sale and all PC gamers everywhere went nuts and bought a number of games. Of course I took part as well and got my hands on a few games myself as well as pre-ordering some new releases too. Today we look at one of the games I bought and that is Portal Knights which despite the name, is in no way connected or associated with Valve's Portal franchise. Its also one of those games that went into Steam Early Access before having its full release last year. And any game that started out in early access is more than likely guaranteeing anyone a good time or a game with some unintentional laughable moments. So let's see how this goes:

With no story to go with it, Portal Knights is a combination of survival, building and RPG games. Like Minecraft (albeit without procedurally generated things), it has a sandbox world in which players can explore, fight monsters and build whatever they desire. In fact, it's almost Minecraft in every way and its more or less the same, just with a different name.

Nothing more to say than that. This game is just Minecraft, but with a different name and sharing similarities with that game in every way. But despite that, it does manage to do its own thing without being a complete clone of Minecraft in every sense of the word. Nothing more to say than that. 7/10
