Random TV Season Review - Agents of Shield (Season 6)

So as I said in the monthly update, I'm going to use February as a means to review all the live action TV shows that Marvel Television have done that all take place within the MCU. Most of these shows are now finished while some have still got their final season to go. For Agents of Shield, this is their penultimate season which thanks to the time jump in Avengers: Endgame has now been considered no longer part of the broader cinematic universe alongside the other Marvel Television shows that came before the fold over of the company. So let's see what the agents have been up to in this season:

With Phil Coulson now well and truly dead, SHIELD begins its re-build under the leadership of Mack (reprised by Henry Simmons) who alongside what is left of the team, try and figure out what's going on with these portals that have appeared on Earth recently and why there is a man called Sarge (played by Clark Gregg) doing bad things while having the face of Phil Coulson on him. Meanwhile in deep space, the other half of the team find themselves into some space criminal shenanigans while trying to find a way back home.

As the penultimate season, its OK. It does well with trying to up the ante to give us more action packed episodes while trying its best to ignore events that occurred in the last two Avengers films which I guess they do to avoid logistical problems. I think bringing the space element into it makes the show more interesting and I look forward to seeing how it all ends for the gang. 8/10
