Random TV Miniseries Review - Hollywood

So as we move into a point where we rely more on TV than ever before, I have decided to make the bold move to look at different TV shows that I wouldn't normally be talking about on this blog. But there will be some exceptions such as most reality TV, game shows, chat shows, topical shows and possibly others. There are just some things I prefer not to talk about such as the Kardashians and other reality shows that only some people enjoy. Now onto Hollywood; a show that is almost identical to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood but actually set during the golden age past World War II instead of towards the end. Should be good fun so let's take a look:

So back in those days, the big dream lots of people had is to be aspiring actors and filmmakers. This is the basis of the show in which we follow a lot of these aspiring people as they go about establishing a career in the film industry while having the show be played out with drums and a bit of jazz. Plus we discover lots about the people coming out of the closet among other things too.

Although the miniseries had good intentions, it's a mess. The stories (or lack there of) are too confusing, but the production value and the acting are all generally good. It captures the ideals of what Hollywood may have looked like back then with the accents, the music and the bustling environment that Hollywood was and for a while still is known for. Could have worked better had the stories be less confusing, but it's OK for a miniseries. 7/10
