Random Video Game Review - Descenders

 

Another game that had been on sale on Steam now and looks like a BMX sort of thing. Made by the guys who did Action Henk and published by the ones that gave us Not Tonight and Yes, Your Grace, this certainly looks like it could be fun. I'm not a bike person these days. Used to be, but not any more. But this does look cool. Let's review it:

The game is a fast-paced, extreme downhill biking game which, according to the developers, is easy to pick up, but difficult to master. On that statement, I agree somewhat. Every track is procedurally generated so no matter what happens, every experience will feel unique and different with some similarities of course. You control what your biker does with freestyle movements and have everything tailored to your play style.

Yeah, not really much else to say about this game. You get what you paid for and it's quite a fun game. One that's easy to get into at first, but quite the challenge to master. If you like BMX or any other biker sport, this is for you. 8/10
