Random Video Game Review - Tacoma

So we come to another game I got in a Humble Bundle at some point and the developers may not be well known to most, but some 2K games you may have played, they had some involvement in. Fullbright as they are known, helped make the Minerva's Den DLC for BioShock 2 and also did work in various other 2K games. Most notably the latest games from the XCOM and BioShock franchises among others. But this is their own game, and it's got my attention, so let's go:

The game is set in the future on a space station of some kind. You play as Amy (voiced by Sarah Grayson) who has an AR device that allows her to review the actions and conversations of the station's crew. Using manipulation, she can fast-forward and rewind to gain certain pieces of information. Allowing her to watch and follow characters as they move throughout the station. A lot of investigative gameplay for sure in this game as she ventures into the station to find out what happened that led to the station being hit by a meteor just three days prior.

While very short in length, this game has an emotional connection between the player and the characters, and it succeeds in making each one of them fully fleshed out, unique and not too generic. But even though it's short, you may feel like the characters deserve a bit more of a pay-off. But nevertheless, very simple and an overall decent game worth playing if you are limited on time and need something to pass it. 7/10
