Random Video Game Review - Temtem

Yep, even Humble Bundle are publishing games and tend to give those indie games a chance if anything. Especially if people, like me, are able to receive them in those monthly bundles they do. So this one is an MMORPG and developed by Spanish development studio, Crema. Using the Unity development engine and another one funded via Kickstarter. Not much more to say about it, so let's go:

Largely inspired by Pokémon, the game has you go around the game area, collecting these Temtem creatures and do battle with them against other Temtem creatures and their NPC or online player trainers. Usually in a 2x2 environment. As you progress from being a novice to a Temtem master, an evil organization threatens to take over the islands by force in the background.

Nothing much to it. It's basically Pokémon with an MMORPG feel to it (something I know fans of the franchise have been begging Nintendo to do at some point for years) and, thus, microtransactions. It won't be for everyone, but if you want a Pokémon like game to play and want to be on multiple platforms besides Nintendo's ones, then this is for you. The lack of innovation and the microtransaction side of it, may put people off, but still, if you like Pokémon, you'll like this. 7/10
