Movie Review: Safe House (Cinema)

This is one of those films that you decide to see if the cinema is showing films that are either romantic or childish for the rest of thier showings. I was surprisingly amused by this film and I shall now tell you why in my review. So, let's go:

SPOILERS!!!

So the CIA are after a ex-CIA agent under the name, Tobin Frost, who the CIA believe has some intel from MI6 agent, Alec Wade. He's then attacked by some mercenarys and the CIA then ask Matt Weston, to move him to a designated safe house for his protection and easy reach of the CIA. Frost is taken for innterogation which is then interupted by his attackers early on, So Matt then takes him hostage and after some intense gunfire and car pursuits and moves him to a safer area. He then contacts the CIA for assistants, but his mentor, David Barlow and his (sort of) boss, Catherine Linklater asks him to lay low and call later. Matt then calls his girlfriend and asks her to leave the house for her own protection. Frost and Matt then go to a stadium of some kind to get a GPS device, but Frost then causes a diversion which has Matt arrested by the police and Frost goes undercover. Matt then loses him and is freed from the police. He then calls the CIA who tell him to return to base for a debreifing, but Matt refuses and goes to see his girlfriend. He then reveals the truth to her and she then goes on the train for her safety. Frost then makes adjustments to his facial look and then goes to see his old friend, Carlos Villar for a catch up. He is then attacked by the mercenarys from before but is then rescued by Matt who then goes en route to the safehouse. Upon arrival, the housekeeper then attacks Matt, which forces him to kill the housekeeper. Barlow arrives with Cathrine and kills her. He then reveals to Matt, then he is the mercenary's employer. Frost then uses his skills to kill the mercenarys but is then shot by Barlow. Matt, coming to terms with everything, then kills Barlow and the following day (presumably), he then reports back to the chief who then promotes him to a much bigger role than what he is at that moment. The intel that Frost had, Matt then leaks online which then brings big news reports all over the world. Later on, Matt goes to Paris to see her girlfirend and while all is well, then leaves as the film ends.

I have mixed feelings to this film. It has its good and bad sides, but overall is a entertianing film to enjoy and watch if you're in to that sort of thing. 9/10

Movie Review - Inside Out 2

I guess a sequel to the first makes sense here. I mean, for the most part, this franchise is all about the subject of growing up and with ...
