TV Episode Review - The Inside Man (Agents of SHIELD S3, E12) + Mr. Freeze (Gotham S2, E12)

This time, Talbot unwillingly joins Coulson on a mission in Agents of SHIELD while in Gotham, we've seen the rise of the villains but now its time to feel their wrath:

The Inside Man
As the search for Malick continues, Coulson teams up with Talbot to go to a delegates meeting in the hopes to talk about the Inhumans. Simmons believes that one Inhuman that SHIELD has may be the cure to all Inhumans that have yet to transition. But one thing leads to another and Malick is one jump ahead yet again. You know, since the events of the Winter Solider, this whole thing about the world trying to accept SHIELD once again is starting to get annoying to the point that it just keeps dragging on and on and I'm starting to wonder if there is any real need to drag it on outside of the films. But aside from that, its a pretty good episode. Not much going on, but still a good one nevertheless. 8/10

Mr. Freeze
With what happened to Galavan from the last episode, Gordon chooses to lie about what truly happened to him as does Penguin which leads the former into getting his job back at the GCPD and the latter being sent to Arkham for claiming to having a mental illness. Penguin then becomes a patient for Dr. Hugo Strange (played by B.D. Wong) and leaves Butch to become the head of his criminal empire. Gordon and Bullock then begin looking into a certain ice man who will no doubt be the next in line for an origin story in the show. While the episode doesn't quite make sense of what the second half's main storyline will be, its good that things are looking up for Gordon but not so much for Penguin and let's see where it goes from here. 9/10
