TV Episode Review - Maveth (Agents of SHIELD S3, E10) + The Son of Gotham (Gotham S2, E10)

This time, Ward finally gets what's coming to him in Agents of SHIELD and Galavan reveals his true identity in Gotham. But don't expect any spoilers from me:

Maveth

With Fitz being used by Ward, Simmons held captive by Hydra and Coulson stuck in the same area as Ward and Fitz, it falls down to the rest of the team and their Inhuman and Secret Warrior allies to go find and rescue them. And without giving away any spoilers, the conclusion is satisfying for many. I get so annoyed by the way Ward acts like those a**hole villains that you just want to go away or get what's coming to them and this episode does just that. Its action packed with thrills all over and I just now wonder where the show will go from here. Well it is obvious that we will be getting a Civil War tie-in, but that's really all there is to it. Plus we also get to find out something that some of us don't know about Hydra (especially those who haven't read the comics like me which I will admit to). 9/10

The Son of Gotham

So this time, we find out the truth about Galavan and then some of the main characters get captured because of his doing. And that's as far as I'm going to go without giving away spoilers. Its an interesting episode as it asks who Galavan really is and see's some of the main characters falling into the trap he has set up. One can say that this could very well shape up what the mid-series finale would be like, but we shall see. 8/10
