Random Video Game Review - Scribblenauts: Unmasked

Oh I love crossovers. Its what makes me being a nerd great. Seeing our dreams come true and see two  or more beloved franchises bring in the best of each of them. Today's crossover is Scribblenauts Unmasked. A game that features the characters and gameplay of the Scribblenauts series with the worlds, settings and heroes and villains of the DC universe. I think this was more of a marketing ploy for WB Games than anything else, but let's see if they work together well:

In the Scribblenauts world, Maxwell and his sister start reading a DC comic. But when his evil twin teams up with DC villains, Maxwell and his sister get dragged into the DC universe to use his powers of imagination and creation to help DC heroes stop his evil twin and their respective villains. So following the gameplay of Scribblenauts, you basically use the keyboard (or the console equivalent) to create objects or have characters receive actions or powers and you use them to help in various quests involving characters from DC. This could be things like preventing Bane from breaking Batman's back, make Superman immune to Kryptonite, preventing a potential Crisis or just to give Maxwell powers similar to those DC heroes.

Its a very simple game with cartoony graphics, but it makes up with putting you in various scenarios and having over 2000 DC characters and several variations of said characters makes this game one for the DC fans, especially those who enjoy everything about them not just in films and what have you. The things you can do, the heroes and villains you can use, this really is a game left to the imagination and I love it. Very unlikely that there will be a Marvel one considering that DC and Scribblenauts are owned by WB, but we can dream. 9/10
