Random Video Game Review - Battletech

So I've played a few games that revolve around managing and using giant mecha robots. Many of these games are strategy games and most I find to be a little confusing, but generally OK overall. I have played a bit of Warhammer too, and this game kind of falls under that subgenre too. Looks interesting and will probably give people's brains a challenge. It was also on sale on Steam not too long ago and as most of you know, I tend to review these kinds of games when they are on sale. So let's take a look:

Based on the board game of the same (or similar) name, we have here a turn based strategy game. Players take control of a commander of either a mech team or four giant humanoid combat vehicles. Players can set the chassis of each mech along with the weapons and armour and a few minor details too. The pilots can also be selected too, each with their own skill tree. The game itself largely doesn't follow the rules of the board game and lets players make the rules.

There is a lot to say about this game, but generally if you enjoy the board game, then you'll like this too. Especially as it's not quite the same rules, but it is good fun. Controlling these giant robot beings all for the sake of winning battles in a world where mechs go to war in a sort of futuristic setting. 8/10
